SHOPPING GUIDES

Find discount deals that are worth buying

Shop with Robin AI. A discount only helps when the offer fits your needs. Ask Robin to look beyond a sale badge and compare the item, seller and cost together.

Give Robin a real starting point

Paste a direct product link and say: “Find the lowest price you can for this model. Include open-box and refurbished options, but keep them separate from new.” If you are still choosing a product, describe your budget and what you will use it for.

Be specific about essentials such as shoe size, appliance capacity or phone storage. A lower price on a variant you cannot use is not a useful deal. For local offers, include your ZIP code and whether pickup is practical.

Compare the amount you will actually pay

An item price is only part of the bill. Look for shipping, taxes, mandatory fees, membership costs and any coupon conditions. A coupon requiring a new account or subscription may not apply to you. Do not count a rebate as an immediate discount unless its terms support that comparison.

A “was” price may be a reference price rather than what other sellers charge now. Compare current matching offers. Robin’s lowest-found label refers to the options checked, not a guarantee that every seller on the internet has been searched.

Keep new, used and refurbished offers distinct

An open-box appliance may cost less but arrive without an accessory. A refurbished device may have a different warranty from a new one. Used offers can be valuable when condition, returns and seller information meet your needs.

Ask Robin: “What am I giving up by choosing the cheaper offer?” Compare condition and warranty differences alongside the price. Search-listed prices can be outdated; open the retailer link to check the current offer.

Decide whether to buy or wait

Save a promising product and set a target price on a supported listing if you can wait. Price watches record supported checks and can produce in-app alerts; they do not reserve stock or guarantee a future discount.

FairRobin takes no retailer or affiliate commissions. Try the AI shopping assistant to compare an offer, or read how to judge a good deal.
