What makes an AI shopping agent useful?
A search engine gives you pages to explore. A shopping assistant helps connect those pages to your needs: the job a product must do, the budget you want to keep and the compromises you can accept. FairRobin uses a conversation so you can refine an answer without rewriting your entire request.
For example, ask for a laptop under $600 for spreadsheets and meetings. Then ask which option has a better screen, which is easier to carry, or whether an open-box offer is worth the difference. Compare the supported features rather than assuming that the most expensive laptop is best.
Start with a product, a problem or a photo
If you already have an item in mind, paste its product URL and ask Robin to find a lower price. An exact comparison needs the same model, size, quantity and condition. Similar products should appear separately so a cheaper accessory or different model is not mistaken for the same purchase.
A photo can help identify what to look for, but it may not reveal an exact model. Add any label, size or brand you know. For groceries and local shopping, include your location and quantity; for services, mention recurring costs and any contract requirements.
Compare evidence and keep control
Robin shows sources, available prices and tradeoffs. Check shipping, tax, seller information and returns before deciding. The Robin Score summarizes available evidence; missing factors are excluded, and the score does not authenticate a product or inspect a used item.
