Price comparison app

FairRobin is a price comparison extension. On a product page it finds the same item at other stores, puts exact matches first, then shows the price you would pay. No store pays for a higher spot. Comparing the page is free.

What it does on the page you opened

FairRobin is the price comparison app for the product already on your screen. It is a browser extension, so the check starts from that page. The card names the first three stores. Further listings are part of the subscription.

A localized AI on this computer reads the product title and price. That reading stays on this computer. It is not sent to FairRobin and is not used for ads.

Exact matches come first, then the lowest price you would pay. If the page you are already on is the cheapest, the card says so.

What the comparison leaves out

No store pays FairRobin, and FairRobin earns nothing when you click a store. There are no affiliate tags and no cashback cookies. A store's own search can still include listings that store marked as sponsored. Those are ranked by price like every other result. No store can buy a higher spot.

Shipping is unknown unless that store shows it. Tax is only an estimate after you add a ZIP. FairRobin does not claim a total that includes shipping, tax, and fees. A discount code appears only when one is printed on the page.

What is free

Comparing the page is free. Watching 3 prices for a drop is free. Watching more than 3 is a subscription: $29 a year or $4 a month. Paying does not change the order of the results.

FairRobin for Chrome is listed on the Chrome Web Store. Keytech Group LLC makes FairRobin.
