SHOPPING GUIDES

Price comparison that checks it’s the same product

The cheapest price only counts if it buys the same thing. Tell Robin what you want, paste a product link or add a photo. Robin checks stores for the same item, lines up exact matches side by side, and shows the real total, not just the sticker.

Start from wherever you are

Say it: “A quiet blender for smoothies, under $80.” Paste a link you’re unsure about. Or snap a photo of the thing. Robin turns any of these into a shortlist you can question, compare and revisit.

If you only know the job you need done, that’s enough. Budget, how you’ll use it and what you won’t compromise on give Robin more to work with than a product name.

Same product first, lookalikes second

A similar name doesn’t mean the same product. Robin compares model number, size, generation, condition, what’s in the box and warranty, and puts exact matches first. A charging case is not a pair of earbuds, and an older model is not a discount on the new one.

Close alternatives are shown separately, with what changes besides the price. Ask “Which difference would I actually notice?” to see the tradeoff that matters for you.

Compare the total, not the sticker

Shipping, tax, membership requirements and return costs can turn a lower price into a higher total. Robin labels details it could not confirm instead of treating unknown shipping as free. Add a ZIP code to compare delivery and local pickup.

“Lowest found” means lowest among the offers Robin checked, not every seller on the internet. Open the retailer link to confirm the final total before you buy.

Every purchase is four questions

Price is only the last question shoppers ask. Robin maps every option against all four: does it do the job, will it keep its promise, is it easy to get, and what does it really cost. A cheaper option that fails the first three isn’t a deal.

FairRobin takes no commission from any store, so the cheapest place is the cheapest place, even when that store would never pay us. Compare prices with Robin or see how Robin checks a deal.
