Sponsored listings and price comparison
A sponsored price can still be a real price. A store's own search can include listings that store marked as sponsored. Those can stay in the list. They get ranked by the price you would pay, like every other result. No store can buy a higher spot.
The row with the little label
You are scanning a store's own results and one card wears a sponsored label. It is tempting to skip it on principle. Sometimes that row is the same item, and sometimes its price is the one you came for.
Throwing it out would hide a real number. Letting it jump the line because it paid would hide a cheaper one. Rank it with the others.
Where the money does not go
FairRobin earns nothing when you click a store. There is no affiliate tag waiting in the link. Exact matches come first, then the price you would pay. A store cannot pay FairRobin for the top row.
